PT. Bank Maspion Indonesia, Tbk was established in Surabaya on November 6, 1989, based on the Deed No. 68 dated November 6, 1989, in conjunction with the Deed of Amendment No. 49 dated December 5, 1989, both made before, Soetjipto S.H., Notary in Surabaya. After obtained permission from the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia on July 30, 1990, Bank Maspion commenced its commercial operation as a commercial bank on April 18, 1990, and on July 28, 1995, obtained a foreign exchange bank license.Based on the decision of the EGMS dated April 3, 2013, Bank Maspion changed the status of the company into a public company and offered to the public 770,000,000 common stock with a nominal value of Rp. 100, - per share, which is listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange dated July 11, 2013. In 2016, Bank Maspion conducted Limited Public Officering I to increase capital through Right Issue Mechanism. Funds raised from Limited Public Offering I was Rp 201,437 million which increased Bank's Equity at the end of December 2016 into more than Rp 1 trillion, resulted the Bank's is categorized as Buku 2 Bank. In 2017, Kasikornbank became the Bank's Strategic Partner with shares ownership of 9.99% of the Bank's total shares.
