Prime is a new social enterprise with a vision to get men in midlife fitter, healthier and connected with each other. It was conceived as part of the Zinc programme to create start ups with social impact. Our mission is to inspire and enable all midlife men in their prime to be more socially connected and physically active. First up, we've launched weekly fun and friendly football sessions for over 35s, taking place at 10am every Saturday. We have live venues across London with the ambition to grow rapidly nationwide.As a founder I always wanted to build a movement that had a positive impact on local communities and create opportunities for hard hit groups. Men in midlife are not often seen as an under represented group but they have some of the lowest levels of satisfaction with social relationships. Lack of social bonds and friendship has a profound effect in later life and negatively impacts both mental and physical health.
