The Foundation for Paediatric Osteopathy, also known as the Osteopathic Centre for Children (OCC) is a charitable organisation based in the UK that seeks to ensure that paediatric osteopathy – a gentle and effective treatment – is established as an option for parents and carers concerned for their child's health. We run a three day a week clinic in Wandsworth, a Wednesday and Thursday clinic in Shoreditch, London and an afternoon clinic in Mill Hill. We welcome children, babies, teenagers, mums and mums-to-be. We are not part of the NHS, and as a charity, we are entirely reliant on donations to keep our clinic open. For appointments and further information, visit the clinic website here: www.occ.uk.com For more than 10 years, a team of our osteopaths has also regularly visited the neo-natal and paediatric units of three London hospitals (North Middlesex, Barnet General and Chase Farm), working alongside doctors, nurses and other healthcare professionals. The OCC has also become a world-recognised learning institution. Each year, we offer 25 qualified osteopaths places on our unique Diploma in Paediatric Osteopathy course. To date, more 186 osteopaths have graduated from our two-year programmes. We are also the centre of a world-wide network of practitioners. To date, we have 62 Alumni members and 42 Associate Members who practise throughout the United Kingdom, continental Europe, Australia, Israel and the United States of America.
