The firm is based on two pillars: Nolan, Norton & Co. and Nolan Norton Institute. Nolan, Norton & Co. was founded in The Netherlands in 1988, following the lead of the American academics Richard Nolan and David Norton, and is thereby embedded in the academic tradition of the Harvard Business School aswell as other renowned scientific and learned colleges in business, management and economics.The Nolan Norton Institute coordinates and develops Intellectual Capital for Nolan, Norton & Co. and its clients. NNI does so through initiating and executing (single and multi-client) research projects, and in various distribution forms disseminates the new insights and models.
