Metro Power Group is a leading player in harnessing the potential of clean energy in Pakistan. They began their journey in the power generation sector with a successful 50 MW Wind Power project in Jhimpir, Sindh, launched in September 2016. Building on this achievement, they successfully launched a second wind power project, Metro Wind Power Limited (MWPL), with a capacity of 60 MW in April 2022. The company's wind power plant has a capacity of 60 MW, and the electricity generated is supplied to the National Grid through energy purchase agreements with the CPPA. Metro Wind Power Limited is the first plant in the 500 MW joint venture agreement between Metro Power Group and British International Investment (BII).
