The group is concerned about the practical implementation of climate solutions and technologies within the time window we have available. We see the political and institutional process to be slow and, in parts, reversed to the agenda set by the IPCC and the MACA Roadmap. The group doesn't want to rely solely on the aforementioned process, but go beyond it. We therefore proactively support the implementation of pragmatic climate solutions and technologies in the real-world context. Real-world context means that we include limiting factors like financing, risks, infrastructure, people, education and culture in our solutions and ventures. We consider the market to be the most powerful driving force, albeit within a healthy and clear regulatory framework, as proposed by the MACA Roadmap. We strongly believe in the power of decentralized systems, collaboration, and economies. Further, we see that for a good portion of the net zero goal, solutions do already exist in a scientific context, while their practical implementation proves itself to be challenging and slow. This is where we tackle the problem. Our goal is to use the aforementioned decentralized market forces to create a thriving ecosystem of climate solution entrepreneurships and ventures. We are group of Massachusetts Institute of Technology Alumni and climate technology entrepreneurs joining forces to accomplish the following goals:- Sharing Expertise, key competencies and resources between ventures- Sharing risks and benefits, i.e. following a portfolio strategy without a central instance.- Realize and implement technology projects, which are of joint interest.- Joint financing strategy in parts. The long-term objective is that climate technology entrepreneurs enjoy ideal conditions to develop their full potential.
