MCPAW is a registered 501(c)3 charitable nonprofit organization working in a public/private partnership with Montgomery County to enhance and maintain the new state-of-the-art Montgomery County Animal Services and Adoption Center (MCASAC). It's true the MCASAC is funded by Montgomery County government. But the county can't provide everything. There will be extras that are wanted, even needed. The county has turned to MCPAW to raise the additional dollars required. Together, we are creating a facility that will house and care for the county's homeless and stray animals while they await new homes or are reunited with their owners. Dogs, cats, small animals like guinea pigs and bunnies, reptiles, birds and even farm animals will all find the second chance they so desperately need. MCPAW's mission is to raise the additional funds needed to enhance the brand new, state-of-the-art Animal Services and Adoption Center (MCASAC) in Montgomery County, MD. MCPAW will support the MCASAC in to the future with special projects.
