If you ask Olsonites/Noswegians, they'll tell you many things. The King and Queen throw all the parties. They sponsor the fun. They act as cheerleaders and mascots. They remind us to play hard after we work so hard. That's all quite true, but the real beauty of NOSLO is in an understanding of history and appreciation of people. You see, NOSLO is really just a device that allows us to break free from assumptions about "the way things are." By traveling to a "magical" land full of parties and llamas, we remember the creative spirit and optimism that made Olson, and all those within it, great. We reminisce of how we got to where we are, and then inspire folks to one-up ourselves. We go back to when the only thing we had going for us was some super smart people who had just a little more determination than the other guys. And we get a little more determination ourselves.
