We are a non-profit student-led initiative that hopes to provide an advocacy-based climate camp in Ottawa this summer to kids ages 9-12!Our team found that young kids today are struggling to grapple with the realities of climate change and are facing high amounts of climate anxiety. There seems to be a growing gap in climate advocacy education for the younger generation, and they are left feeling helpless without any tools or resources to turn to.We want to change that! We have created an inquiry-based camp that will ask kids to "Reimagine The Future" and explore how they can use their voices TODAY to create an equitable, sustainable and climate-resilient future!This camp will take place online in July and August, and will be a zero-cost experience for campers with a free camp kit delivered to their door!
