The Japan Research Institute(JRI) was established as a non-profit organization on August 31, 1970. JRI was established in order to pursue and solve the complex problems that inevitably confront the public and private sectors in the present highly sophisticated era as well as to formulate new ideas and theories.JRI's establishment was motivated by individual initiative, and therefore, JRI's first working principle is complete neutrality and creativity without the influence of established enterprises, capital groups, and organizations such as political parties and labor unions. Toward this end, the full-time staff at JRI are carefully selected and trained for comprehensive, wide-range of organizational tasks.
