The International Gamers' Alliance, IGA, is a small startup company focused on integrating gamers globally with similar interests and hobbies. The IGA started out in the summer of 2006 as being just a handful of gamers enjoying each other's company. In October of 2006, the main developer, Cameron Tinker, while a junior in high school, took on the design of the first website for IGA. This website was hosted on a free webhost and contained static web pages including a link to the IGA's forums, which was also hosted on a free forum host. In the spring of 2007, IGA purchased its first paid hosting. The website was redesigned to use PHP. In the summer of 2007, it was decided to move IGA to Windows hosting to start development of a new website in C# and start formulating the design for the new IGA. It wasn't until the spring of 2008 that the move took place. Since then, IGA has been received minor upgrades making the website into its current state.\\The IGA is currently undergoing a major overhaul scheduled for public release in the spring of 2012. Some of the features planned for the public release are that gamers can connect with one another from around the world and participate in gaming events with each other as well as view stats about latest played games on networks such as PSN, Xbox LIVE, Steam, and xFire. Some of the statistics include latest trophies unlocked on PSN and newest Steam or Xbox LIVE achievements.
