Up till now, 9 modern production lines and supporting facilities have been built, creating nearly 7,000 local jobs, producing for the world's renowned brands, and making the company Ethiopia's largest exporter. In April 2015, Huajian Group's second major investment in Ethiopia, Huajian International Light Industrial City in Addis Ababa, began its construction. The project has a planned investment of $1 billion, covers an area around 140 ha with the construction area of 1.6 million sqms.
