The Housing Authority of Bergen County was established in 1964 with the goal of providing housing opportunities for low income families and older adults. Our main emphasis is the efficient management and maintenance of our affordable housing units and rental assistance programs.The Housing Authority of Bergen County is an extremely active and successful public housing agency. We are exceptionally proud of our past accomplishments and continue be creative in developing programs that create a continuum of assistance with the goal to help those struggling with housing affordability, at any level, while providing housing opportunities for all with the ultimate goal of family self-sufficiency.
