FromMap asks why can’t you “stumble” upon a new favorite, hidden cafe or take a hike 4 blocks away from your work that you had no idea existed, everyday and everywhere you go? There is something truly special and rewarding about experiencing a “local’s favorite” type of venue. FromMap is compiled of these local favorite type of venues that are assorted so our users are able to browse in a similar fashion one would browse a travel magazine. Users can flip the page on venues they aren’t interested in and bookmark the ones they are interested in. Venues can be sorted at random according to the city they are in within the app, searched categorically, or by name. FromMap venues are first compiled and added by the FromMap team from market research; if a venue does not exist we provide a blank template that allows our users to build the venue they had in mind. FromMap allows all users to send venues to each other within the app for potential meetups or group trip planning.
