Created in 1984, the "FAFA pour l'Europe is a non-profit association under the law of 1901. It has a sister association in Germany, the VDFG für Europa. The purpose of FAFA for Europe is to encourage, promote, consolidate and deepen all forms of meetings and cooperation, exchanges of information, knowledge and experience between the actors concerned, in all areas affecting French and German civil society, regardless of any political party or confession. The Association also supports all efforts aimed at bringing peoples closer together at European level.
