Epicurious kids offers a safe and warm environment where children can develop skills that will last a lifetime and help to ensure a healthy relationship with food. While exploring a world of flavors, colors, and textures, kids will also learn the importance of kitchen hygiene and food safety. Becoming aware of safe practices not only empowers our children with wisdom, but also allows them to discover an incredible sense of freedom to create and have fun with food. Because our young chefs are accomplishing a task and learning something important, our cooking classes will inspire confidence in both the kitchen and at the family table!Learning to cook allows young people to get the "hands on" practice needed to develop an extraordinary number of life skills. As an experiential learning activity, food preparation is exceptional because it equips kids with the tools necessary to experiment with how the pieces of their own "skills" puzzle fit together.
