The Engineers of the Earth (Μηχανικοί της Γης) is a nongovernmental organization founded in Athens in 2008. We're a civil, nonprofit association whose goal is to provide technical support and ‘know how' to developing countries and international nonprofit, nongovernmental organizations. EngoE aims to find technical solutions adjusted to local conditions, with great respect for the environment. EngoE covers a wide range of projects related to each engineer's expertise. These include: waterworks, irrigation, flood control, waste processing, environmental technology, building infrastructure, housing, transportation infrastructure, renewable energy, rural development, water resource management.The organization refers not only to engineers, but people of all kinds of scientific disciplines and backgrounds, as well as every citizen who wants to contribute to the achievement of EngoE's objectives. Your participation plays a vital role in our cause's development and target fulfillment. The organization's work and action concern every individual, regardless of race, religion or political beliefs. The organization has no political or union affiliations.
