Community Futures Stuart Nechako (CFSN) began operations in 1994 (formerly known as Community Futures Development Corporation of Stuart Nechako) as an independent, non-profit organization.Through the Community Economic Development process we work closely with communities to explore new means of economic diversification, business development, and project realization.The Community Futures Business Development Program provides counselling and workshops in areas such as business plan development, marketing, bookkeeping and business finance to help new and existing entrepreneurs improve their business skills.In addition, through our Business Loans Program, we help clients locate both traditional and non-traditional financing and provide non-monetary assistance to develop new businesses or improve existing businesses.
