The City of Armagh High School was opened on the current site in 1995 by Queen Elizabeth 2nd. The school currently houses 340 pupils and 23 staff including 4 Learning Support Classes who make use of the excellent facilities to fulfill the aims of the school and ensure a high standard of learning and teaching takes place.The school is at an exciting phase in its development due to its involvement with the Armagh Shared Education Proposal. This would see further development of the relationships between all the post primary schools in the Armagh area and ensure the high standard of teaching and facilities available at The City of Armagh High School are shared with the greater Armagh population.Good schools, like all successful organisations, reflect carefully and regularly on their practice and on progress made towards the achievement of their goals and the realisation of their vision.
