To provide direct program services to young cancer patients which are intended to educate, empower and lift their spirits. Our (1) Keeping Kids Connected Program gives iPads to hospitalized and isolated pediatric cancer patients to enable them to remain connected to family, friends and their school work. The program has resulted in many patients being able to graduate with their classmates. Childhood Leukemia Foundation's (2) Our Hugs u Wear Program customizes and creates lightweight human hair wigs, to restore a child's self-esteem after losing their own hair to chemotherapy. (3) Wish Baskets are provided to young cancer patients as a welcome surprise to lift their spirits with age appropriate items such as puzzles, games and toys. Finally, we provide (4) Hope Binders to newly diagnosed patients to help organize their insurance and medical information. Additionally, a Hope Binder App was created and offered with each iPad that Childhood Leukemia Foundation gives to each patient.
