For over 200 years, Catholic schools have contributed significantly to the social, spiritual, and economic fabric of our entire community. Founded in 1995, the Catholic Education Foundation is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization dedicated to the growth and vitality of Catholic education in the Archdiocese of Louisville.The Foundation provides grants in support of four pillars of Catholic education:1. Tuition assistance for families2. Religious education for parishes and schools3. Professional development for educators and catechists4. Technology enhancements for parishes and schoolsSince 1999, the Foundation has awarded over $46 million in support of Catholic education. For the 2021/2022 school year, the Foundation and its funding partners awarded tuition assistance to an all-time high of 3,400 Catholic elementary students across central Kentucky with record funding of $7 million.Our Vision – Every family has access to a Catholic education.Our Mission – To promote the growth and vitality of Catholic education in the Archdiocese of Louisville.
