Bridging Hope Therapeutic Services

Emily offers a safe and supportive therapeutic environment where children, youth, adults, couples, and families can process the struggles and barriers they may be encountering in their life. Emily will work side-by-side with you to manage life's stressors. She offers a person-centered and strengths-based approach. Emily is passionate about supporting children and their families in their healing journeys, helping them to achieve their goals and strengthen their functioning and wellbeing as individual members and as a family unit. She has completed all of her in-class training: Levels One, Two, and Three of the Play Therapy Certificate Program through the Canadian Association for Play Therapy. Emily uses Play-Based techniques in her work with children. Working with individuals, couples, and families she utilizes principles and techniques from other modalities such as Solution-Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). Emily practices from a trauma-informed lens and recognizes the importance of attachment and the brain.
