This reflects the commitment of our parent companies, EDF UK and Dalkia, to the strategic growth of the business in the UK and reinforces their international growth ambitions.Breathe was founded in 2010 with the aspiration to make a significant impact for its client's energy and carbon saving ambitions. Breathe began life under the ownership of MCW, a Canadian specialist energy management and engineering company. We grew from a start up to one of the UK's leading UK Energy Performance Contractors through the hard work, enthusiasm, determination and dedication of our employees. In December 2019, Breathe was acquired by Imtech who are jointly owned by EDF Energy and Dalkia. This provided us with a owner who share our long-term goals to deliver material energy and carbon reduction savings for clients including the NHS, local government, the civil service, universities and private clients.
