The Asian Institute for Advanced Research (AIFAR) is a non-profit distributing think tank and research organization that seeks to advance knowledge and understanding through multidisciplinary research. Our mission is to generate high-quality research that informs evidence-based policy and decision-making, fosters social and economic progress, and contributes to sustainable development in Asia.At AIFAR, we conduct research not only on a wide range of individual disciplines but also at their intersections. We take a multidisciplinary approach to our research, drawing on insights and methods from various disciplines such as political science, environmental science, economics, sociology, and anthropology.
