Actions For Healthcare is a student run, non-profit group striving to raise money for healthcare-related organizations based in Ottawa, Canada.Actions for Healthcare strives to disseminate the information gathered from medical research to the general public, provide opportunities to learn about innovative research initiatives in the National Capital Region, and promote interest in healthcare and healthy living.We believe that it is essential that the public is made aware of the vast amount of ongoing medical research and the benefits of such work. Due to the high costs of research in healthcare, it is crucial to financially support such innovation in any way possible. Medical research is a fundamental step in the development of new treatments, preventative measures, and cures for the many health ailments of today. By raising awareness of the effectiveness of innovation in healthcare, we hope to reinforce the importance of financial investment in medical research. We also strive to connect young, motivated members of the community to veterans in the medical field. This is facilitated through the organization of various fundraising events, as well as participation in numerous charity events in the National Capital Region.
