AKALEM e.V. was founded on August 30, 2019 by the private initiative of managers, lawyers, journalists and lecturers with reference to Mediapark and the purpose to support science and research, as well as art and culture. The aim of AKALEM is to promote academic (student) life in Mediapark. This includes * implementation and promotion of scientific events, in particular lectures, conferences and seminars in Mediapark, which serve the academic exchange of students with the economy, politics and social initiatives,* promotion of discourse and thematic activities of students and associations in Mediapark in cooperation with resident companies of Mediapark via established student working groups, as well as * promotion of cultural life and social, sport and communicative encounters of students in Mediapark.AKALEM sees itself as a source of inspiration for academic and cultural events and as a contact network for attracting renowned speakers from the worlds of business and politics, who can be recommended to individual student initiatives.
