Catalyst is a nonprofit organization that promotes inclusive workplaces for women and business.
It offers resources for research, information, and advice about women at work. The company offers advisory services, which provides members with advice and insights to build and sustain workplace inclusion; member benchmarking services, which allows members to track gender and racial/ethnic diversity by level and global region; and corporate board services, which helps senior women members to determine their potential to serve on public company boards and assist them in formulating strategies.
Catalyst also offers information center services such as tracking and collecting information with a collection of books, periodicals, statistics, government reports, and press coverage of working women; and speakers bureau, a resource for companies, firms, and organizations, which engage and inspire corporate, professional, and academic audiences by presentations on business case for gender diversity, diverse women and inclusion, mentoring and sponsorship, and unwritten rules to advancement.
Its information center service specializes in issues related to women and work include diversity in the workplace, leadership, retention and turnover, sex discrimination, lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender issues, women in management and on corporate boards, and work-life effectiveness.
