The admissions department automatically admits students who meet certain criteria, such as being in the top 25% of their class and having a combined SAT score of 1300. Students who don’t meet criteria for automatic admission may still submit transcripts, SAT or ACT scores and recommendation letters for consideration.
Another great thing about Texas A & M is that they automatically offer full tuition coverage with scholarships and grants to students whose family earn below a certain income. Those outside of this income-bracket may still apply for grants and scholarships as well as student loans.
