Multifunctional Survival Equipment (MSE) is inspired by the problem-solving mindset of Norwegian explorers and designed with first-hand experience in military survival, we create innovative and reliable outdoor equipment for soldiers and outdoor enthusiasts.Military survival is the art of staying alive with a minimum of equipment. The better the equipment, the higher probability of survival. MSE's mission is simply to make protective equipment that increases soldiers fighting ability, and ultimately their chance of survival.For us outdoor enthusiasts, survival is not a goal but a prerequisite. Nevertheless, we depend on the equipment we pack for our adventures. We believe that the less we take along from ‘civilization', the less we dilute the sensory impressions the wilderness has to offer. This mindset led to the VÆR – born from a wish to challenge convention, leaving behind all the superfluous gadgets and gizmos. With VÆR, we want to make it easier for everyone to spend the night under the open sky and travel light. Saving weight and space in the backpack means there's more to discover on the hike. And less is more when you're in camp. Your comfort and survival depend on the few essential items you carry. So, there's no need to worry about tomorrow, just look around and BE in the moment.
