sySTEMic is a Toronto based non-profit. We are focused on empowering individuals and communities to support gender equality and racial diversity in the Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) fields. We believe that these individuals desire to participate more fully in the STEM field but face systemic barriers. We are focused on approaches to remove barriers and increase participation. We recognize that this challenge cannot be comprehensively addressed alone, so we seek to build upon and enhance existing actions from individuals, communities and organizations already at work.
