Woof Stock is a first annual arts, culture and music festival with the aim of supporting and showcasing Humane Societies, animal rights and the community in its entirety in multiple ways. While providing great entertainment, recreation and commerce the festival will also cultivate self expression, creativity, togetherness and love.We are huge supporters of the BC SPCA and the BC Humane Society, our goal is to provide substantial funding while bringing more awareness to their noble causes. They speak for those innocent souls who have no words, join us in magnifying their message. We will also be donating to other humane societies and shelters as well our goal is to raise over $1,000,000 for donation this year.The City of Prince George is a beautiful place to live, visit and invest in spite of the obstacles it faces with national awareness.The Canada Winter Games was a leap in the right direction for the betterment of our notoriety. We have an opportunity to gain positive exposure and with The Guinness World Record attempt the World's Largest Group Hug we intend to take advantage. On August 29th, 10,554 people on-site at Woof Stock will participatein this groundbreaking act of love and support. We will show the world that Prince George is a city full of caring, compassionate individuals. This record attempt will be given to the City of Prince George as a 100th anniversary gift.There will be five stages for five days filled with musical performances, live art creations, dance productions, lectures and cultural presentations. All structures will be built to code, inspected and have all permits on site with more than adequate security. There will be workshop areas all around the festival grounds where people can learn new skills, hobbies and lifestyle influences from qualified instructors.
