The National Nature Reserve of Slapton Ley is fed by the shallow Gara Brook that runs through the middle of Watermill Cottages. Dartmoor is forty minutes' drive.Ideal for combining for larger parties of family and friends, the cottages accommodate up to 23 people.Woods, lawns,water meadows, a stream to play in. Great for den-building, mini raft making, bows and arrows and nature play. It's almost traffic-free, with only the postman passing through.We raise chickens, ducks and sheep, and grow as much of our own veg as possible from our kitchen garden and orchard, pressing apples for cider and juice and coppicing wood for the cottage log burners.
