VH Quatrevingtreize is a company based in la Ciotat that decided to act for the ecological transition. How? By developping, manufacturing and marketing tidal turbines. A tidal turbine is a machine that transforms the power of rivers, streams, waves, tides... in electricity!If the production of renewable energy is a first step in favor of the ecological transition, we take another one by manufacturing our tidal turbines with bio-based materials, such as pine needles, bio-based PLA, linen fibers made in France, polypropylene masks...Our product also stand out by its size. It is indeed smaller than most of the other tidal turbines on the market. This, in order to use the power of smaller and less deep streams, where 30m diameter tidal turbines cannot go. This is possible thanks to the innovation at the heart of our product : the savonius rotor with soft blades.
