Urban Medical Centers ("UMC") is a real estate investment fund manager that acquires, manages and develops medical office facilities in greater Chicago. UMC will partner with major hospitals, health systems, federal clinics, government agencies and specialty medical providers to develop new medical office buildings in Chicago and surrounding suburbs, including northwest Indiana and will also strategically acquire medical office buildings in major metropolitan areas throughout the United States. UMC will also partner with hospitals and institutional equity funds to increase access to health care through the strategic, value-add acquisition, and opportunistic development of health care properties in medically underserved communities.
