May 2018 – Turkish Women in Renewables and Energy Network was established. January 2019 - The first structures of the Green Collar Women's Association started to be built, 60 intellectual women working in energy gathered under the umbrella of the Turkish Women's Network in Renewable Energy. 2020-2022- TWRE used the pandemic wisely and took the opportunity to design and perform more than 70 digital training and webinar series.2019-2022- TWRE participated in nearly 50 congresses at home and abroad, executed sessions, provided equality on the stage and expert women became visible. June 2022- Green Collar Women's Association was established by the operation and management team of TWRE.October 2022- 1st General Assembly meeting was held as GCWA.As women of climate warriors, like our women ancestors in independent war, we commit to making our fight against climate change with the association.The association will continue its activities to ensure there is room for young women in the field of STEM, to recognize and direct new and green technologies, with our minds, ideas, and assets,As written in the charter, the preparation and implementation of the projects bring together parts from different disciplines and fields in order to achieve all Sustainable Development Goals.
