Three Dragons Martial Arts Academy is the only martial arts school in Orlando, FL that provides traditional ITF Taekwon-Do instruction to ensure our students achieve discipline, focus, self-confidence, character development, and personal goals. Unlike most other martial art schools that leave you feeling frustrated with the "belt factory" routine, Three Dragons Martial Arts Academy gives students a feeling of real accomplishment as every belt is truly earned.Our purpose is to empower our students to achieve their goals while developing physical strength, ability to defend, and confidence to grow into leaders in the community while assisting parents in the awesome responsibility of raising our future generations. Our story begins many years ago...in of all places...Fairbanks, Alaska! The three Stewart siblings (Matt, Alicia, and Josey) started their journey to learn the art of Taekwon-Do.At age 10, Matt began to assist instructing lower ranking members of the school under his mentor Master Lester. At age 12, Matt earned his black belt and became Instructor of his own classes. The original school began in 2000 with 50 founding members and grew to over 250 active students. After realizing the potential personal growth, the school was sold to another Instructor so the siblings could follow their own paths.Matt moved to Orlando, FL in 2010 and started a family with his wife Tiffany. In search of a proper ITF school; Matt with family in tow could not find one and decided to extend their love and passion for the art with the community and are founding Three Dragons Martial Arts Academy in Orlando, FL.We are planning on opening our school in November of 2015 in the Lake Nona area.
