The Gilbert School was founded in 1895 "...for the improvement of mankind by affording such assistance and means of educating the young as will helpthem to become good citizens." We are a high school that serves seventh through twelfth grades in Winsted, Connecticut. The Gilbert School also has an International Program that educates students from around the world.
