The dedicated teachers and staff provide an education that helps each child develop spiritually, academically, and socially. Rooted in faith and growing in God's love, each student at St. Francis Xavier School is supported in their personal pursuit toward excellence. Preschool Program: A Faithful Beginnings preschool program provides a high-quality preschool education in a faith-filled environment. Catholic parishes throughout the Archdiocese have united as Faithful Beginnings schools to help ensure that each program provides top-quality care and education for all families. K - 8th Grades: Since 1937, the students at St. Francis Xavier School have experienced a high quality education rooted in the faith. A variety of instructional methods, incorporating elements from classical and modern educational models, is used throughout the school to help meet the needs of each student. Graduates of St. Francis Xavier are well known for their strong academic skills, study skills, desire to learn, and leadership in the classroom. At St. Francis Xavier, our goal is to become the literacy leader for our students. To do so, St. Francis Xavier School is partnering with Groves Academy, a national expert in reading instruction, to transform our literacy instruction. The program is called Believe and Read. Powered by the Catholic Schools Center of Excellence, Believe and Read is a three-year initiative that brings Groves Academy's methodology to St. Francis Xavier School through outstanding professional development and teacher coaching. Our goal is to ensure that every student at our school reads at or above grade level.
