Sound Sessions music courses bring 13 to 17 year old musicians together to meet each other, hang out, jam, and play music. Sound Sessions are about having fun whilst developing skills and techniques by rehearsing, composing, performing and recording music as part of a band.That music is life-enhancing and stimulates brain development is a universal truth. So too is the benefit of family harmony. Supporting teens to enjoy the pride and happiness of creating music together and allowing their parents the pleasure of knowing that their teenagers are filling their spare time with life enhancing experiences is our mission. As the mother of two teenaged musicians, Philippa McNamara founded Sound Sessions to make it easy to join a band; happy teenagers + happy parents = family harmony.
