The Small Enterprises' Institute was founded by the Hellenic Confederation of Professionals, Craftsmen, and Merchants in 2006, due to the increasing needs for documentation, evaluation of policies, elaboration of positions and putting forward proposals and for scientific support, in more general terms, of the various interventions of the Confederation in social dialogue and the demands of the representative bodies. The objective of the Institute now is not only to become the robust and reliable scientific advisor of GSEVEE, but rather opts for something more: to evolve into a key "reference point" for the issues concerning small and medium-sized enterprises in Greece.
