Shift Bioscience is unlocking cellular reprogramming with cell simulation models. Cellular reprogramming is a powerful biological pathway that can reverse ageing and age-driven diseases in the dish but is not yet safe for clinical use. Our team out of Cambridge has pioneered the first high throughput, high accuracy ageing biomarker, which can be leveraged in cell simulation models to put the prized drug targets within reach. We envision the rapid development of drugs initially targeting the eye and then across the body, after which full and continued health in old age becomes accessible by simple prescription.
