Rogues Rugby

Rogues (Rugby's Oldest, Greatest, Ugliest, Expert Supporters) was formed by three International Rugby Players and later granted the lifetime award of "Honourable Rogues" : - John Patrick Dougan, First-five eight - One of the characters of Petone, Wellington and New Zealand Rugby - John Patrick O'Shea, Prop - Cardiff, Wales and the British Lions - Dick Marks, Centre - Queensland, Australia, Rothmans national CoachSponsored by Carlton & United Breweries, the sole purpose was to host fun lunches for "real rugby" people and donate any profits to charities.The underlying theme of our group is to have fun and enjoy the unique camaraderie of the great game they play in heaven. As such, everyone who comes to one of our lunches is inducted as an Honourable Rogue and entitled to the following privileges:• Perpetual membership to the Rogues Gallery in the Platinum Members area of that great stadium in the sky, with free entry to all games, past and present and• Perpetual ownership of a permanent car park at that great stadium for unrestricted use by you and your other Rogues guests for pre and post match boot parties. The Company was deregistered following the untimely death of "Darcy/Dougs" in 2006, but its memory is often recalled at its spiritual home at The Rugby Club in the Sydney CBD.
