Established in 2004, Rivercrown's business is organised as two divisions:1. principal investment in lending, credit and equity; and 2. financial and capital markets advisory. Rivercrown has executed more than €10 billion of transactions through its Principal Investment Division and more than €30 billion of transactions through its Financial and Capital Markets Advisory Division. Rivercrown is privately held and has offices across Europe. Our clients and investors include corporates, pension funds, insurance companies, sovereign wealth funds, private equity firms, banks and funds as both lenders and borrowers. The depth of our experience in financial markets combined with our deep knowledge of real estate assets and markets, provides a material competitive advantage. Rivercrown is harnessing a number of fundamental shifts in the way real estate space is being used to deliver returns to investors and advising clients on how best to manage property assets to navigate these trends. We focus on asset classes that exhibit attractive market trends either on a cyclical or structural basis. Such trends found in consumer behaviour, lifestyles, NPL markets and alternative lending are where we are well positioned. We focus more on assessing micro locations in the context of broader market conditions. We try to seek assets that demonstrate value and where the market has overlooked the opportunity. In June 2019, the pan-European business of CR was rebranded as Rivercrown. Founded in 2004, CR initially focused on advising banks and financial institutions on the structuring (and later re-structuring) of complex portfolios of assets and loans. Operations were initially based in the UK and Germany and expanded to other markets.
