REGARD – Saguenay International Short Film Festival is an example of regional cultural development. The contact with the local community and its discipline, many special projects and the ongoing development of the event cement the happening with the public. It is a generous pole of collaboration with numerous emergent and established Canadian festivals, with its community through several boards, committees and film clubs; through the Short Film Market with its partners where various workshops, conferences, round-table discussions and other public and private meetings are organized. REGARD, it's also an objective. Becoming a gateway of the Americas for the short film and an international launching pad for the Canadian cinema.
