To me it's all about PROCESS.As a photographer, my PROCESS is shoot first & make sense of it later. I prefer to photograph people, places & things for longer periods of time. In 2010, I realized that I use a camera to take notes of what & how I see, then I like to look back through those notes and search for patterns, differences and similarities…I enjoy showing how and why subjects have or haven't changed.Sometimes people allow me to document their life in a genuine way, I feel a great responsibility to portray them in a way that accurately reflects who they are and what their PROCESS entails. Though, I believe photographs can tell, at best, only 83% truth…the other 17% is a combination of romanticism, artistic choices and memory failures. I feel humbled to have developed the relationships and to have gone where I've gone with my camera. As a communications designer, I rely on my knowledge of photography to craft a story. To me a successful story is a combination of emotion and logic in order inspire, inform or delight.
