The Parenting and Child Conduct Center specializes in helping parents of defiant children and adolescents manage challenging behavior. The primary method employed is Parent Management Training (PMT). PMT was developed by Dr. Alan Kazdin of Yale University to treat Oppositional, Aggressive, and Antisocial Behavior in Children and Adolescents. I hold certification in Basic Parent Management Training in the Kazdin Method and have 14 years experience counseling children and adolescents in the school, office, and home setting. In addition to Parent Management Training, I offer individual, family, and group counseling to address anxiety disorders, depression, and anger control in children and adolescents. I use Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) to treat these disorders.The mission of the Parenting and Child Conduct Center is to provide therapeutic services to children and adolescents regardless of family financial circumstances.
