McAlister Threat Management was founded by an experienced police detective sergeant due to a recognized deficiency in the way our current criminal justice system approaches the problem of targeted violence. Preventing targeted violence requires proactive approaches and management. Threat Management seeks to assess concerning situations regarding people and contexts and minimize the chances of future violence by strengthening protective factors and minimizing risk factors and triggers. McAlister Threat Management provides guidance in handling targeted violence situations such as domestic assault, stalking, workplace violence, school violence, and terrorism. Additionally, we provide training in these areas for schools, employers, criminal justice professionals, and victims.
