The Maricopa Country Sheriff's Office Technology Posse was formed in 2010 and provides industry expertise, training support and funding to the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office and its deputies. The posse raises funding as a 501c3 with member donations and fundraising events.\\The mission of the Technology Posse is to support the Sheriff's Office by providing technologies (hardware, software and training) along with expertise of the membership within the posse. The Technology Posse has established and maintains an equipment and training fund for the Sheriff's Office. In addition, the membership assists and cooperates with the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office by providing assistance and support in areas and situations as deemed appropriate by the Sheriff's Office.
