Lumi Foods is no longer in operation. Due to a confluence of circumstances, Lumi Foods and it's cpg brand Blue Heron are no longer operational. Operations ceased several months ago, and during the interim period, solutions were being sought to recalibrate around a different approach, those were solutions were not forthcoming. It is with a great deal of gratitude to all who supported Lumi, from investor to consumer and more that this news is shared. It is not the outcome anyone wanted. The decision was not taken lightly, nor frivolously. To those in the dairy free alternative sector we wish you all the best, as you continue to move the needle on reducing the impact of animal agriculture on the environment and animals. Lumi Foods was part of a movement building the future of food. Lumi Foods (formerly Blue Heron Creamery) was on a mission to accelerate humanity's transition to a just, sustainable, animal-free food system by inspiring consumers to reimagine dairy, starting with cheese.
