The academy was started in 1997 by former Olympian Lisa Mize. She wanted to share the knowledge and skills that she had gained throughout her years as a softball player and coach. At the Lisa Mize Fastpitch Academy we strive to increase the level of play and the love for the sport of fastpitch softball. Our staff is dedicated to teaching our players the skills necessary to achieve their maximum potential as athletes. Our Academy offers private one-on-one instruction as well as semi-private classes. All instruction is geared to improve the Fastpitch player and is catered to each individual's needs. Teaching proper mechanics and technique of each specific skill is the focus of each lesson. We offer private pitching, hitting, fielding and catchers lessons.
